Our Branch meets once a month at a chosen pub in the Baltimore/Washington region to enjoy the simple pleasure that is cask-conditioned real ale. The beer socials are held on the second Thursday of each month, so mark your calendars accordingly. Our President, Steve Marsh will try to keep you informed of future events as information is known. We are also working to update the SPBW website, Facebook, and more. We will try to be more consistent with newsletters as it gets easier to use Constant Contact.

You're invited to a beer social at Pickett Brewery, located at 1130 South Paca St, Baltimore, MD 21230, just a short walk from Camden Yards, this Thursday, February 13th, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM! This is the perfect spot to hang out before games. We visited Pickett as a group this time last year, and the social was well attended! There will be a food truck on site, providing delicious options that pair perfectly with their beers. Pickett has 12 draft taps, including non-alcoholic options, and while this is a cask beer social, they also offer many other choices, including draft cider and more.

Participate on Saturday, March 15th, from 12 PM to 6 PM for the second annual St. Patrick's Day Pin Crawl in the South Baltimore Brewing District! This was a huge success last year, visiting at least three breweries including Checkerspot, Pickett, and WICO, among others.
