Our Branch meets once a month at a chosen pub in the Baltimore/Washington region to enjoy the simple pleasure that is cask-conditioned real ale. The beer socials are held on the second Thursday of each month, so mark your calendars accordingly. Our President, Steve Marsh will try to keep you informed of future events as information is known. We are also working to update the SPBW website, Facebook, and more. We will try to be more consistent with newsletters as it gets easier to use Constant Contact.

You're invited to a beer social at Hysteria Taphouse on November 13th, 5:30pm start, located at 3201 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD

They will be serving a pin of Peg Leg Stout, a beer that Heavy Seas has not made in 3 years. Most of the porter was bottled so we are getting the only pin of this stout produced.

There will be some other HS drafts, a small keg of rare barrel aged cider and Steve will be bringing some vintage bottles of big HS beers. Reps from Heavy Seas will be there to talk about changes going on at the brewery.

Hysteria is in a shopping center with several walkable food options or delivery to the taproom.

December 11th social will be held at Maryland Homebrew. Bay Life will most likely be supplying beer and we're inviting homebrewers to come and share their brews. Les White will be catering dinner. More details to come.
